Garden Club Christmas Party "Blessing"

 Almighty and gracious God,

giver of every good and perfect gift,

who in this holy season adorns the earth with beauty

and crowns the year with your goodness:

We give you thanks for the fellowship of this table,

for the fruits of the earth and the work of human hands,

and for the joy of friendship shared in this place.


As you once brought forth light in the darkness

and life in the midst of winter,

so bless this gathering with glad hearts,

this food with your bounty,

and all our labors with patience and delight.

Grant that, as we tend the gardens entrusted to our care,

we may also cultivate generosity, peace, and hope,

and so bear witness to the quiet wonders of your love.


Through Jesus Christ our Lord,

who came among us full of grace and truth,

and lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,

one God, now and for ever.

Amen.
