I want to generate a discussion of the ads. What do you think? Remember, the target audience will be young adults.

I think that the idea is wonderful...the Episcopal Church needs to come out of its staid, conservative shell to attract new members. The "fundies" (fundamentalists) have been doing this remarkably well as they recognized a long time ago that there were many people seeking spiritual fulfillment who needed a more casual, welcoming environment. I think the ads are well done and I personally love them. The only thing I would change is perhaps the reference to the Maker's. While most Episcopalians aren't against taking a drink now and then, given the suffering that alcohol consumption has caused in this sorry world I would consider not putting even an implied endorsement on its use. People are free to make up their own minds about its use without the church talking about it in either a pro or con way.... (Staying neutral would seem the better path it would seem to me...)
the musings of an Episcopal Priest, resident in the Diocese of Mississippi, serving as Rector of St. John's, Ocean Springs, and Dean of the A. C. Marble School for Theological Formation.
