Biopsy Day

Iti s 6:30 on Wednesday and I am preparing to go to the hospital for the biopsy. I have to be there at 7:00 a.m. and the surgery is at 9:00 a.m.

I feel fine. They gave me something for the headaches over the weekend and it helps. I still get very tired and still have dizziness and blurred vision--but 95% of the time I feel fine.

They tell me I will be kept in ICU overnight and then moved to a regular room and then sent home. When I am in a regular room, I will post again.

I think this should officially be labeled as "biopsy day." It has a certain ring to it, don't you think? Anyway, you're in my prayers, and as your surgery is starting now I'm thinking of you. And probably will some more when I zone out in Old Testament this morning (you know how it is)...

Hi, Charles,

Hope it goes well. I vote to keep as much of your brain as possible.

Interestingly, I was just talking with a Baptist student here yesterday about your Episcopal church once wanting to read your dissertation! He was incredulous!

Dear Charles,
I was hoping that you might share a little bit of your brain with me! It would be such a help and I would promise to take good care of it.

I am part of the cloud of faithful friends who uphold you in prayer today.

Much love,

You know I'm praying very much for your brain. You also know I don't have money to send you flowers. Therefore, I'm sending you a link to the bouquet I would send you if I did have money.

did the link work this time?

Love you Charles, I hope you are doing well post op. I know the healing can sometimes feel like the hardest part, fortunately God gave us Chocolate Ice Cream for that part.

You are in my prayers daily.
